@papdpipes_drums Please Join Law Enforcement Officers Weekend and the Family of Port Authority Police Officer Steven Tursellino (LODD 9/13/13) at Citi Field on Sunday, September 29th for Law Enforcement Family Day! The Mets will face-off against the Atlanta Braves for their final regular season game. The event is open to all active & retired law enforcement, families, friends & supporters. Attendees will have access to a pre-game stadium tour, open draft beer bar & food voucher (adults only), raffle prizes, meeting Mr. Met, cornhole, virtual reality batting game, kids run the bases (after game), t-shirts and so much more! A great family-friendly event for both your BLOOD and BLUE families! Tickets are $95 per adult and $45 per child. Thursday July 18th. Suffolk County P.O. Thomas Kennelly retired with 37 years of service. Officer Kennelly is the father of Our Brother P.O. James Kennelly #1790 who passed away of a 9/11 related cancer in 2017. Shortly before his passing Jimmy Kennelly was named Honorary Grand Marshal in the 2017 NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade. He and his family led our department up 5th Avenue on that momentous day. We would like to thank and congratulate P.O. Thomas Kennelly for his 37 years of dedicated service. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Lt. Bobby Jones. Lt. You were one in a million. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of P.O. William Leahy. EOW 6/6/19. P.O. Leahy fought long and hard, but succumbed to a 9/11 related illness. William, May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. God Bless you!
